Community Expectations

At Seitime Games, we strive to maintain a welcoming and respectful gaming environment where fun, safety, and collaboration are prioritized. These expectations apply to all players, game masters, and participants in any official Seitime Games event or communication platform. This includes sessions hosted on Seitime Games, our Discord servers, or through affiliated services.

Player and GM Conduct

• Respect all participants: Everyone, including players and game masters, should show mutual respect by listening, supporting one another, and contributing to an engaging story. This includes communication outside of Seitime Games Discord Servers
• Punctuality: Players and game masters are expected to arrive on time. Sessions typically start promptly unless a player or Game Master is delayed. In such cases, we allow a 15-minute grace period. After that time, the session may begin without them or be postponed if either fewer than three players are present or the planned story requires their attendance. If the Game Master is not present, the game will not be marked as "started".
• Collaborative storytelling: Improv-style collaboration ("Yes, and") helps keep the story flowing. Narrative contributions should be welcomed unless they strongly contradict your character’s ideals.
• Enjoyable play: The goal is to create a cooperative and engaging gameplay experience for everyone involved.

Session Attendance and Cancellations

• Absences: If you are unable to attend a session, notify the game master as early as possible so that adjustments can be made.
• Minimum attendance: A session will proceed if three or more players are present and the story can continue without missing members.

Boundaries and Content Guidelines

• Prohibited topics: Real-world discrimination based on race, gender, political views, or religion is not allowed. Scenes involving rape or pedophilia are explicitly forbidden.
• Fade to Black roleplay: Fade to Black scenes are permitted with appropriate communication. Players should disclose any real-life relationship context to fellow participants and are encouraged to communicate with any current partners to ensure mutual understanding and respect.
• Roleplay etiquette: Players should control only their own characters. Do not speak or act on behalf of others' characters without their consent. Maintain cooperative storytelling by giving others space to contribute.

Discord and Community Rules

• No discrimination: Prejudice based on race, gender, age, religion, or sexuality is not tolerated. This includes deliberate misgendering or refusal to acknowledge corrected pronouns.
• No fighting: Debate ideas, not individuals. Personal attacks or hostility will be moderated.
• No solicitation: Commercial promotions are prohibited unless approved by an administrator. Non-commercial promotion is restricted to the “Promote Yourself” channel.
• No sharing personal information: Sharing or pursuing sensitive personal data is not allowed. This includes names, locations, phone numbers, and social media handles that go beyond an online username. This includes communication outside of Seitime Games Discord Servers
• No explicit content outside designated channels: The only justified explicit sexual content allowed is drawn, animated, and written. Pictures drawn or adult themed gifs can live in the ⁠Art Palace, and only there. Written sexual content is only to exist in "Fade to Black" RP channels.
• No harmful software: The distribution of malware, viruses, or similar content is not allowed, even if accidental.
• No threats: Threatening behavior is unacceptable under all circumstances.
• No player-versus-player conflict: Characters in Seitime Games are expected to work cooperatively. Player-on-player harm or theft is prohibited unless explicitly consented to by the group and game master.

Reporting and Accountability

If you witness or experience a violation of this Social Contract, you are encouraged to step away from the situation and submit a report using the Contact Us form. Reports will be handled respectfully and confidentially. Repeat or severe violations may result in temporary or permanent removal from Seitime Games spaces.
